Cottage Point Kiosk and Boat Hire, built around 1918, is situated at picturesque Cottage Point at the entrance to Coal and Candle Creek in the Kuring-gai National Park. Only 40 minutes from the Sydney CBD and should not be missed by visitors to Sydney. Located at the junction of Cowan Creek and Coal & Candle Creek, part of the Hawkesbury / Broken Bay river system. A dream destination for kayakers and an ideal place for breakfast or lunch, or a great launching point to discover the abundant flora and fauna and Aboriginal rock art.

Four kids, two very busy parents and not a whole lot of spare time so we absolutely loved seeing friends of ours choose one of our Picnic Boats for some proper family time together.

A few hours on the water, swimming, exploring and just being together and a very special first boating adventure for their beautiful baby! Sometimes it really is the simple things that make the best memories.

Our Picnic Boats are perfect for a family of six, easy to drive and no boat licence is needed. With the school holidays nearly here, jump online, book a boat and have your own little family adventure!

We’re a little late getting around to this one, but Father’s Day was a huge day here at Cottage Point!

Beautiful weather, live music, lots of families, plenty of food and a very busy Kiosk.
Even our daughter Sia was put to work making milkshakes after making the Father’s Day colouring-in poster! What better way to spend Father’s Day with dad than helping him out at work.🤣

Thanks to everyone who spent part of the day with us, and a huge thanks to our team for getting us through such a busy Sunday!

Also a big shout out to OLTAY for the groovy tunes and for letting the Kioskfather behind the mic - sound on! 🔉
