Yesterday, the top six apprentices from Central and North East Victoria gathered at GoTafe Wangaratta to compete in the regional round of WorldSkills. These six apprentices were chosen from hundreds of apprentices within these regions. Our apprentice, Xavier, was among the competitors. As a first-year apprentice, this was a remarkable opportunity for him to gauge his skills against others and embark on his WorldSkills journey.

On a personal note, our son Lachlan, who is employed by Cummins Wodonga, also participated in the competition.
With divided loyalty, Matt attended the event to support both our boys and watched them complete their assigned tasks.
Congratulations to both of you; we are extremely proud of you. 👏
