The Rutherglen Rumble was held today and again it was a huge success. Congratulations to Nick Hawtin and your team. Your commitment to the health of the wider community is something to be celebrated.
We were again proud to support the day, Matt was involved is judging the award winning trucks, a tough job. Thank you to all the drivers and owners for the work put in bringing the trucks back to showroom condition.

Rutherglen Rumble
Rutherglen Showground
Saturday 11th April.
Trucks, Car, Bike & Tattoo Show

Order of events will run.

Gates open @ 8 am.

Motorcycles will enter through the first Entry next to Kindergarten. There will be some bikes out in the Pavillion and the overflow out the front of the Pavillion.

Budget Bike Build Off entries must be in the Pavillion.

Trucks will enter through 2nd set of gates.

Cars will enter through 3rd Gate set past the Garden Club area

Anyone entering on the day will need to go to the blue gazebos next to the semi trailer stage.

Tattoo entries are at the Gazebos also
Tattoo show starts at 11.00 inside the Pavilion.

Judging ends at 12.00 for all cars , trucks, bikes.

All Trophies awarded 1.00-1.30. This is for everything. Cars, Trucks , Bikes , Tattoo and the Budget Bike Build Off Winner Announced.

All trophy winners ( excluding Legend vs Classic, Best in Show and Build Off) will be given a pick from a bucket with raffle tickets and the ticket they draw will be attached to a prize. You could win a voucher, some wine, some cash with your trophy.
If you do not want the prize you can give it to a friend or even donate it back to be auctioned off. We find this is the fairest way to divide up our donations and prizes. We thank you for understanding.

Cinema will be set up and will start on Dark.
It will be at Showgrounds also. If it’s too windy or raining we are unable to operate the inflatable Cinema due to Safety concerns. But it’s looking good weather.

If you want to leave after trophies please do so in an orderly manner under guidance of one of the organisers or volunteers in fluro.

This is a family event and non alcohol event.
If you bring an animal ( not recommended due to the amount of people and entries ) it MUST be on a lead and controlled. You must clean up after your animal too. Please be careful when near any displays or vehicles and when in crowds not to cause any damage or incidents.

Most of all Enjoy yourselves as it’s a chilled relaxed environment and we like it that way.
Please drop in and see the AgBizAssist tent and say hi to them.

A 2.5-year trial of an electric truck in SA's forestry industry has concluded with the truck now parked, finding it was able to do the job but wasn't cost effective, even with high fuel prices.

Today we signed up our newest member of our team, Xavier Hawtin.
Xavier came to us last year for work experience from Rutherglen High School, then work placement for the remainder of the year.
We were so impressed with his work ethic we offered him an apprenticeship.
Welcome Xavier we look forward to watching you grow into a quality tradesman.
