We’re seeking an experienced Panel Be**er to join our growing workshop team in Cootamundra. This role suits someone who takes pride in high quality repairs, works well in a structured environment, and understands the importance of safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Vehicle body repairs — structural and cosmetic
• Dent removal using modern techniques
• Panel replacement including OEM and aftermarket fitment
• Welding & fabrication (MIG/TIG preferred)
• Surface preparation for paint and refinishing
• Collaboration with paint shop to ensure seamless workflow
• Quality control checks before vehicle release
• Documentation for insurance and internal records
🧰 Skills & Experience
• Trade qualification as a Panel Be**er or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of smash repair processes
• Ability to interpret repair quotes and job sheets
• Experience with ADAS related repairs (advantageous)
• Competence using workshop tools, welders, and measuring equipment
• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team
