To all our fantastic customers and clients — we’re currently working through a phenomenal amount of work. The workshop is flat out, the calendar is full, and cloning ourselves is apparently still frowned upon. 😂

No availability for quoting appointments or walk-ins from today, 15 October, until 15 November.

Respectfully, our priority is keeping our current workload on track and giving our booked-in clients the time, quality and attention they deserve. We appreciate you understanding. 🤝

📣 MDSfab BOOKING UPDATE

Things are extremely busy in our workshop!

We’re currently running a 7-day fabrication schedule, which has us back-to-back with vehicle fabrication and product engineering work through until February 2027.

For anyone chasing vehicle fabrication before then, we’ll still be squeezing in selected pipework, intercooler kits and smaller fabrication jobs where we can — but at this stage, the next realistic gaps are looking to be after mid-November.

If you manage to hatch your way into one of those spots, you’re one of the lucky ones 😂

PARTS BOOKS ARE STILL OPEN!

We’re continuing to take orders and enquiries for:
• Intake manifolds
• Exhaust manifolds
• MDSfab manufactured parts
• The occasional small automotive part/run for our customers

We also really appreciate everyone’s patience with our replies at the moment. Between fabrication, engineering, manufacturing and keeping the workshop moving, response times are considerably longer than usual. We’re not ignoring you — we’re probably just welding something. 😂

WORKSHOP HOURS
Our workshop is open to the public:

MONDAY–THURSDAY
7:30AM–3:30PM

Pickups, drop-offs, quoting or visits outside these hours require a booking request.

As always, thank you to everyone who continues to trust us with their cars, projects and ideas. Being booked this far ahead is something we never take for granted.

We’ll keep building them — you guys keep giving us reasons to. 🤝

☀️ MDSfab — SUMMER TRADING HOURS ☀️

Due to the nature of this fantastic country we live in, every year as we move into the hotter months we adjust our working hours to look after the comfort and wellbeing of our staff.

From Monday 14th September, our client trading hours will be:

MONDAY – THURSDAY
7:00AM – 2:30PM

If these hours don’t work for you for a pickup, drop-off or quote, that’s completely fine — we can still accommodate you, however you’ll need to organise a time with us beforehand.

Our longer availability will return in the new year once things cool back down.

We’d also like to remind everyone that MDSfab isn’t a click-and-collect shop, and we’re not focused on maintaining a 24/7 online presence.

Our focus is quality, hands-on manufacturing and a genuinely good customer experience.

We’re not a sausage factory. 😂

We’re humans, we have lives outside the busy baseline of our working weeks, and we want our staff to be able to enjoy those lives too.

So please respect our trading hours, our team’s wellbeing and the boundaries we’re putting in place over summer.

We’ll keep building cool s**t.
We’ll keep looking after our customers.
We’re just doing it during hours that make a little more sense when Australia decides to turn the workshop into an oven. 😂☀️

You vs the guy she told you not to worry about 😂

Had the opportunity to fabricate a one-off set of headers for a Toyota Corolla 2ZZ-GE VVTL-i — YAMAHA HEAD, LIFT BABY WOOOOO! 😂

This one’s for one of our OG customers, going right back to the early days of MDSfab.

I took advantage of the opportunity to make something a little more race-savvy, and something you can appreciate when you actually get underneath and see it. Because apparently even the s**t nobody sees needs to look cool 😂

These cars are seriously overlooked. Until you’ve driven one up and down a mountain, gripping it and keeping that 2ZZ up in lift, you just can’t appreciate how much fun they are.

We love getting jobs like this in between our ongoing builds. Something a little different, something properly fabricated, and even better when it’s for someone who’s been with us since the beginning.

🚨 MDSFAB – WE’RE FKN BUSY. PLEASE READ. 🚨

With World Time Attack coming up this weekend, the workshop is absolutely slammed with work both before AND after the event.

For the next 2 weeks, our entire team is committed to getting through our current workload and keeping everything on schedule.

That means, temporarily:

❌ NO walk-ins
❌ NO scheduled quotes
❌ NO lengthy phone calls / workshop chats
❌ NO “while I’m here, can you just have a quick look at this?” 😂

We’re not ignoring anyone, we’re not disappearing, and we haven’t shut the doors — we’re just fkn busy.

It’s only two weeks… but apparently for some people, that’s the end of the world. 😂

So please be patient with us while we navigate what is going to be a tremendous couple of weeks for MDSfab and everyone involved with World Time Attack.

Messages and enquiries are still welcome — just understand that responses may take longer than usual and we may need to circle back once things settle down.

To all our customers with current jobs in the workshop: you are our priority, which is exactly why we’re putting these boundaries in place.

Another little piece of the HardTuned Viper GTR coming together.

After deciding to move the wastegates to bonnet exit, the challenge was figuring out how to make it work without it looking like we’d just punched a couple of pipes through the bonnet.

We spent a fair bit of time getting the position right, finishing the tube work around the bonnet notches and adding the trim rings around the exits.

It’s honestly not a huge amount of extra work in the grand scheme of this build, but it’s one of those little details that completely changes the finished result.

Really happy with how this came together. Everything sits where it should, it’s functional, and the trim rings just finish it off nicely.

Sometimes it’s the smallest details on these builds that end up being my favourite.

The Viper is definitely starting to look pretty serious now 👀
