A DRAW IN THE OVERALL

A year full of ties in points, the 2025/2026 Make Smoking History Collie Speedway created history this season, being the first time ever there was a tie in Seasonal Overall Points.

Unable to be split, Street Stocks Cody Avins and Junior Sedans Jesse Hamon become joint winners of the Seasonal Overall Points!

Finishing a very close runner up, was Nuno Mendes who again was right up the points end of the field for the overall for another season.

We can’t wait to see what is in store for 2026/2027!

AVINS WINS BEST AND FAIREST

Storming away with a big bundle of votes at the start of the season, Street Stock's Cody Avins was crowned the Crowe Family Best and Fairest for the 2025/2026 Speedway Season.

Avins, took the win from Production Sedan Western Australian Champion Kyle Sayer who finished as your Runner-Up and Junior Sedan Jesse Hamon.

MEMBERS ACKNOWLEDGE FOR AMAZING CONTRIBUTION

Continuing on with the awards from our recent Presentation Dinner at the Collie Italian Club. Three of our Club Members were acknowledged for their amazing contribution to the Collie Racing Drivers Association.

Ian Crowe was awarded the Club Person of the Year for his dedication to continuing to help improve the venue every weekend, with his last project, the expansion of the Pit Canteen, being a roaring success.

Speaking of Canteens, Main Canteen Manager Cameron Tanner and Pit Canteen Manager Maxine Bentley were acknowledged by Fuel to Go and Play for their work improving the operations of our canteen, offering healthier options for all at every event we hold.

There may be only three people with awards, but every official, volunteer, and club member needs to be recognised as well. This season was one of our biggest seasons to date, and without everyone's help and dedication, none of this would have been possible.

We are proud to see the number of Production Sedans making their way to the Make Smoking History Collie Speedway each meeting, with again the division providing us with some spectacle moments over the season.

STREET STOCKS AGAIN A BRIGHT LIGHT IN COLLIE

Being the lucky hosts of this years Odh Mechanical SSA Street Stock WA Title for a record sixth time, the Make Smoking History Collie Speedway was blessed with some of the best racing seen by the division at our venue ever.

JUNIOR SEDANS PUT ON A SHOW ALL YEAR

Over the next week, we will be going through all the winners from the 2025/2026 Make Smoking History Collie Speedway, and today, we start with Junior Sedans.

This season, our Junior Sedans once again put on some fantastic racing, with the final lap of the Christmas Cup Finale, with five drivers all going for the win, something to go down as one of the best finishes seen at our venue.

A big thank you also goes to KJB Industries, who joined us again to support our Junior Sedans this season.

All Junior Sedans who completed in over four race meetings during the season will receive a plaque. If you could not make it over the weekend, please contact our page!
