Australia’s historic road racing community is counting down to the 2026 Australian Historic Road Racing Championship, which will be run in Collie, Western Australia, from September 26-28.

Organisers are expecting up to 200 solo and sidecar competitors from across the nation to descend on the circuit, with Period 2 to Period 7 classes covering bikes from the 1920s through to the end of the 1990s.

The event, to be hosted by the Historic Competition Motorcycle Club of Western Australia (HCMCWA) will feature guest appearances from two motorcycle legends — former 500cc Grand Prix, Isle of Man TT & World Endurance star Graeme Crosby and former FIM Motocross World Championship hero Jeff Leisk.

Made possible through the hard work and dedication of the Collie Retired Miners, we’ve got an amazing new mural at the clubrooms painted by well-known WA artist Shakey (Jacob Butler).

The mural tells the story of the “End of an Era”, with the entrance to the clubrooms painted to look like the entrance to an underground mine — a great tribute to our local history and mining heritage.

Make sure you pop in and check it out for yourself. The detail is unreal and it’s something really special for the club and community💖💖💖
