🏀 Sunshine Conference Finals Wrap🏆

What a weekend of basketball at Sportz Central! The Sunshine Conference finals delivered high energy, big crowds, and outstanding performances from teams across the region.

A huge congratulations to our home women’s team, the Coffs Harbour Suns Coffs Harbour Basketball Association, who claimed the championship in style! This amazing young team played with heart, confidence, and maturity beyond their years. The future is incredibly bright for women’s basketball in Coffs Harbour.

We also celebrate an impressive double from the Braves program Valley Braves Basketball with both the Men’s Division 1 and Division 2 Braves teams taking out their respective titles. A massive achievement and a testament to their depth and determination.

Thank you to all players, coaches, officials, volunteers, and supporters who made the Bronwyn Vigors Pacific Challenge a standout event once again.

What happens if your ADAS is not correctly calibrated?

Some ADAS features may render your vehicle completely unusable if they aren't calibrated properly. Features like autonomous braking may prevent the vehicle from moving if sensors can't pick up the surrounding environment, due to their line of vision being blocked or impeded.

If the LDW (Lane Departure Warning) is not calibrated correctly, it may steer you off the road or onto the wrong side of the road!

These are just 2 issues that may arise from incorrectly calibrated ADAS.

In today's fast-evolving automotive landscape, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) stands at the forefront of enhancing vehicle safety and driving comfort.
With multiple sensors, sonars and cameras to make this system work seamlessly, they must be calibrated correctly to work correctly!
The purpose of the front sonar located in the front of the vehicle, usually behind the front bumper or the manufacturer badge, this unit is used for collision avoidance and your adaptive cruise control.

What is ADAS calibration?
Advanced driver assistance systems is the name that covers all the safety features in the modern vehicle.
Lane departure, cross section alert, traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, collision alert, pedestrian detection, surround view and rear collision warning.
For these systems to work accurately and correctly, they require calibration.
Using state of the art equipment and technology in a controlled environment , this is done through a process known as ADAS calibration.
