Our Inland Petroleum family is incredibly saddened by the news that one of our own, Jesse, and his partner Pagan are facing every parent's worst nightmare.
Just days ago, they were living the life every young family dreams of. Today, their beautiful four-year-old son, Alastair, has been diagnosed with leukemia.
In an instant, everything changed.
Jesse and Pagan have had to leave home and relocate to Sydney so Alastair can begin urgent treatment. Alongside the fear and uncertainty, they've also had to make the heartbreaking decision to be separated from their other two children while they remain by Alastair's side.
Anyone who knows Jesse and Pagan knows they are kind, hardworking people who are always willing to help others. Right now, they need our support.
The months ahead will bring hospital stays, treatment, travel, accommodation costs, lost income, and countless challenges as they focus on what matters most – helping their little boy fight this battle.
