So close to a 9sec 1/4 mile pass but maybe next time. Pauls S3 had a great first hit out at Willowbank. With more left in the tank we'll make a few adjustments and try again. What a weapon!
With an impressive 0-100kmh time this S3 is such a weapon for a daily driven car.

Mk6 R retune

We're still doing quite a few Mk6 Rs. Surprisingly some have never been tuned but others have been recently bought and the owner isnt sure or is concerned about how the engine is running. Doing some basic checks and retuning the car gives some peace of mind its all running as it should 👌🏼

This particular Mk6 fuel pump was a bit tired so we had to run lower boost to maintain rail pressure and injection timing. The owner will eventually replace the pump and add upgraded internals and then we can add some more midrange fun for him.

Flex Fuel available now!

After years of development, we're pleased to release our Flex Fuel software for Mk7/Mk7.5 Golf R and 8V/8V.2 S3 including Stage 1, 2 and 3.

What is Flex Fuel? Flex Fuel or flexible fuel allows your vehicle to run E85, 98 Octane or a blend of the 2 fuels. The ECU seamlessly adapts to the changes in ethanol content via an ethanol/Flex Fuel sensor.

Why use E85? E85 consists of 85% ethanol and 15% premium 98 with an octane rating of approximately 107. Together with its high octane rating, cooler combustion temperatures and numerous other benefits, we're able to increase the horsepower substantially in comparison to 98 Octane fuel, especially when a higher volume turbocharger is used.

How does it work? After installing the ethanol/Flex Fuel sensor in the main fuel line, the ECU (Engine Control Unit) is able to monitor the ethanol content live and make changes to boost, ignition timing, air fuel ratio, torque control and various other performance variables to change the power and torque output of the engine.

For example, a Mk7 Golf R with our Stage 3 upgraded turbo package would make approximately at the wheels:
300kw on 98 Octane
350kw on E85
325kw on E45 (half 98 and half E85 blend)

Hardware upgrades are required to use E85, so please contact us or your local dealer to find out what is needed for your particular setup

not so slow anymore making a whopping 453kw at the wheels with a G30-770 turbo and e85. Unfortunately we maxed the current fuel system out and decided to wind it back until upgraded parts arrive

8Y RS3 - 352kw at the wheels

We've now completed a few 8Y RS3s utilising the plug and play ECU kit. Our standard package for these includes full flex fuel capability allowing the driver to use either 98 or e85 and the ECU adapts to suit. Other features include map switching on/off pops and bangs, high/low boost, valet, engine Immobiliser, rolling antilag, various launch control strategies and more.

Factory delivered the 8Y RS3 makes +/- 240kw on our mainline dyno. With standard Stage 2 components including downpipe, intercooler and Intake results were 302kw on 98 octane and 352kw on e85. These results were consistent between the different vehicles we recently calibrated

G80 M3 Stage 2

Whilst we're not new to bmw tuning this is a new 1 for us. The lovely G80 M3 Xdrive. BMW packaged this with a pretty awesome ZF gearbox and a well thought out AWD system

The ECU needs to be sent to Finland for unlocking at then once back we're able to calibrate the engine.

We cant be the best at everything so for this 1 we called in someone who has been a great mate over the years and is 1 of the best BMW calibrators in the world with plenty of records to his name, all round good guy Mr

We're now able to supply flex fuel tuning for the G80 so it seamlessly adjusts to either 98, e85 or anything in between and so does the power and torque output.

🔧Mods:
Turbo back exhaust system
Port Fuel Injection kit with standalone controller that integrates with the factory canbus.

We had to disconnected the Xdrive and run it in RWD mode to keep the car happy

📈Result
Stock standard = 353kw
Stage 2 -98 =409kw
Stage 2 - e85 = 477kw on e85 but huge amounts of wheel spin so a hub dyno is required for a more accurate result

A full TCU Calibration was also provided to ensure the most direct power transfer possible.

This package results in a high 9s 1/4 street car 😱
