🚙💨 WHAT A WEEKEND! 🍻

What an honour to be part of — and proudly sponsor — the Childers Bash Car Club!

We rolled out of Apple Tree Creek at 8am Saturday morning and pointed the convoy north. Rather than taking the easy way, we tackled Deepwater National Park, taking the hard way into Agnes Water — because where’s the fun in sticking to the bitumen? 😂🌳

After plenty of dirt, dust and good tracks, we pulled into Agnes Tavern for a well-earned lunch before checking into the 1770 Caravan Park.

A few polite arvo bevvies 🍻 followed by dinner at the pub wrapped up a bloody good Saturday.

Sunday morning started exactly how it should — sausage, bacon & egg rolls for breakfast, followed by a vanilla slice for morning tea. 👌

We checked out the 1770 Lookout before beginning the trek home, once again avoiding the boring route and finding a few unsealed, less-travelled roads along the way.

Past the Lowmead Pub, a few more dusty kilometres under the tyres, and finally back where it all began — Apple Tree Creek Pub. 🍺

Great roads, great scenery, great food and even better company.

A massive thank you to everyone at the Childers Bash Car Club for another cracking weekend. AutoShine Childers is incredibly proud to be involved with and sponsor such a great local club.

Here’s to plenty more dirt roads, questionable route choices and good times! 😂🍻🚙
