Just a little PSA

We have delayed for a few days but our fuel price will be increasing tomorrow morning by approximately 20cents per litre. We are currently:

DIESEL $2.39

We are open until 5:30pm.

CONTAINER DEPOSIT SCHEME

Please note that our bulk days are going to vary from now until the end of September due to staff members (my daughters and their families) travelling Australia/Europe and living their best lives 🥰🥰

We will generally be open for bulk Friday & Saturdays (not Thursdays during this time) but please message if you are unsure and have large amounts to deposit.

If these times aren’t suitable for you, please message and I’ll do my best to set up a time that works for both of us.

Keep an eye on our page as I will be updating here each week.

It’s Sunday again, yay..

We have limited sweet potato/pumpkin curries available this morning instore and a couple of the mango coconut “icecreams” left.

See below for next weeks deliciousness and I will have an “ice-cream” available again for $5 but haven’t decided the flavour yet.

Duang:
For next Sunday 3rd May, I will make a dish from my Chinese heritage: Braised Tofu and braised egg in five spice and mushrooms, Rice medley and SE Asian pickled vegetables. When making an order please choose from the following: (all are low gluten)

1. Rice and braised tofu only (no egg & vegan) and pickled vegs

2. Rice and 4 eggs (no tofu) and pickled vegs

3. Rice and 2 eggs plus tofu and pickled veg

Unfortunately I don't have any photos of this dish to show. You can google 'braised eggs in five spice'. Basically eggs are boiled and peeled. Then they are slow braised in five spice broth which get absorbed into the eggs. Tofu is cooked the same way. The end result is a blend of salty and mildly sweet with aromatic cassia, fennel, cloves, star anise and sichuan pepper.

Presented in a box which serve two people for $25/box. Deliver to the Chewton Service Station on Sunday 3rd May. Available to pick up 9-3pm on Sunday and 9-5pm on Monday.

Hope everyone had a good weekend and are ready for a new school term. Thank you to you all for ordering food from me. Next week will me by 4th week. If you have any feedback on the food or the packaging, please let me have it. I'd love to know if the boxes have met your expectation. For pick up next Sunday 26th April, there will be these 3 dishes in the box which serves 2. Each box is $25 and can be picked up at Chewton Service Station on Sunday 9-3pm or Monday 9-5pm.

Julie will have a real treat for you. She is making Mango Ice cream on a stick. These are gluten free, vegan and without refined sugar. They are $5/stick and they go fast.

Feel free to reserve your meal in a box and add Mango Icecream on a stick. Meal is $25/box for 2 and Mango Icecream is $5/stick.
