Job Description

We seek enthusiastic and experienced qualified mechanics to work in our busy workshop.

Two positions, one based in Castle Hill and one in Dural. Positions are full time, including half day Saturday.

You need to;

Be professional, motivated and results driven
Have certificate III Automotive ( Mechanical – Light Vehicle)
Have rego ticket ( desirable not a must)
Have great technical skills
Be a team player, with a fun personality
Have a current NSW driver’s license
Have own tool kit
Job tasks and responsibilities:

Carry out vehicle inspections
Troubleshooting, fault finding and diagnostics
Regular and preventative maintenance services
Road test vehicles
Interpret spare parts and repair requirements
Be confident and able to work autonomously
Work cooperatively with other staff
Be able to engage customers when required
Complete basic paper work and job cards
We will provide uniforms, personal tool insurance, excellent working conditions and an attractive salary, negotiable dependent on experience.

Tyre fitting and/or wheel aligning experience is desirable but not essential as we will train and facilitate your qualification through TAFE/MTA.

The successful applicant must however;

- Have a NSW Drivers License a must

- Be able to meet deadlines

- Be honest, reliable and hardworking

Tyrehouse stores are remaining open in relation to the COVID-19. Tyrehouse wants to remind our customers that we are here to help. To add in helping people self-isolate and minimise travel, we offer pick up and delivery of vehicles in surrounding Hills suburbs and we can take payment over the phone. We have implemented social distancing protocol in our stores and restrictions are now in place, only two customers are allowed in the showroom at any one time.
