Are you a skilled and passionate mechanic with experience working on Mazda and Toyota vehicles? We're seeking a motivated individual to join our team of dedicated professionals at Carnarvon Motor Group, a leading Mazda and Toyota dealership in the heart of the Gascoyne Region.

About the Role:

As a mechanic at our dealership, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of Mazda and Toyota vehicles with the occasional vehicle outside our Toyota/Mazda network, including popular models like the Mazda BT-50 and Toyota Hilux. You'll work with state-of-the-art equipment and have access to the latest training resources from both brands.

Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on Mazda and Toyota vehicles
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and smaller electrical faults
• Carry out complex repairs and overhauls, including 4WD-specific issues
• Ensure all work is carried out to Mazda’s and Toyota’s standards
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed
• Provide excellent customer service

Qualifications and Experience:
• Australian-recognised trade qualification as a Motor Mechanic / Automotive Technician (Light Vehicle Mechanical)
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working on Mazda and/or Toyota vehicles (preferred)
• Experience with 4WD repairs (highly desirable)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Current driver's license

We are looking for a person to join our busy front office.

Key job functions including but not limited to:

Taking bookings for service amd repairs of motor vehicles.

Invoicing of work completed ,warranty claims for Mazda and Toyota and managing Toyota Service Advantage Claims.

Liaison between guests and workshop for bookings and work required.

Must have current drivers license- manual an advantage but not essential.

This is a fulltime position with above award wage and excellent conditions.
