Apologies RSM team but we are not able to open the workshop tomorrow Saturday the 15th due to a staffing shortage. No appointments are affected but obviously those of you that like to pop in for random objects or to drop off chocolate will need to wait until next week 😁
We do hope that this doesn’t inconvenience anybody 👍👍🤞🏻🤞🏻

Yes it’s EKKA week again next week and on Monday (the 10th) they are forcing us to eat Dagwood Dogs, do 7 crazy rides and then try to keep it all down.
Workshop is closed Monday but open the rest of the week (yes that includes Wednesday).
Have fun, try not to catch a cold, and bring us some Freddo show bags!!

Nice to have a visit from our local State MPs regarding training and support in our industry. Also a great shout out to our awesome Chiara, head and shoulders above the rest 😁

Building Queensland’s skilled workforce starts with backing apprentices and the local businesses that train them.

I joined Russell Field MP at Rising Sun Motorcycles in Capalaba, where Stewart and his team are helping the next generation gain practical experience and build rewarding careers.

We met apprentice motorcycle mechanic Chiara and heard about the strong progress she is making through her Certificate III in Motorcycle Mechanical Technology.

The Crisafulli Government is focused on strengthening apprenticeship pathways, supporting employers to take on apprentices and tackling the skills shortages left after a decade of Labor.

By backing training and local businesses, we can help more young Queenslanders earn, learn and build a secure future.

A big thanks to all the Gentles that came on the DGR on Sunday. We were blessed with great weather in between these days of rain! Maybe it’s just good motorcycle karma. The DGR has purpose.
If you like the look of these pics then it’s your turn to join in next year!
And yes, Chopper made it all the way around and home again, even though you all dumped and ran off on us 😁

Yes we know there is rain around but that doesn’t dampen our dapperness 😁
This Sunday we will be riding in the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride. Meeting at the shop from 7.30am for an 8 o’clock departure to the start of the ride.
Gentlemen and Gentleladies….. sign up officially, join the Rising Sun Ratbags and get some donations happening to support men’s mental health and prostate cancer research.

Yes Ratbags, it's that time of year again where we peruse the local Opp shops for the finest gentleman and gentlelady attire, polish the chrome, and ride our stunning steel stallions for purpose and pleasure.
The purpose... supporting men's mental health and prostate cancer research.
The pleasure... looking and sounding amazing.
More ride details are coming soon, so in the meantime lets get organised and get the tweads and steads ready :)

Happy Easter everyone!! Whether you are out riding through this beautiful country, or sitting at home getting fat eating chocolate, or in Japan doing some training (eating) enjoy this Easter long weekend!
We are shutting up shop Thursday night 2nd at 5pm, reopening on Tuesday morning at 830am.
We all hope you get out on the road for a great social ride this Easter. You might see the team at RSM out there too 😊🏍️

Welcome to 2026 team!!
RSM is back on deck this week and it’s been a busy one.
We hope everyone enjoyed their festive season, are refreshed, and got a chance to put some rubber on the road.
Make sure you get in early, like Jayden here with his new 500 Hornet, for any servicing bookings. It’s a very busy time of year and it’s important to look after our precious machines! Stay safe 😊🏍️👍

Santa has just swung by and picked up his H2 so you know what that means…….your pressies are on the way! And fast!!!
2025 has wrapped us for us here at RSM. We have packed up and are heading out today. Stew will be in residence Saturday the 20th and Monday the 22nd from 8.30am until 12.00 for any last minute needs and chocolate receiving but the workshop is closed (yes that means no last minute dirt bike tyre changes! 😁)
We couldn’t thank all of our great customers enough for their support, and our hard working team of Chiara and Dylan and for delivering consistently all year.
Please ride safe over the Xmas and New Year season. We’d love to see more of you in ‘26.
