Today we had Odhran's GR Yaris in the workshop for a logbook service to ensure everything is mechanically A-OK.

The last time we saw this car, we fitted some of our Street Performance brake pads and rotors. Even after a couple of thousand kilometres, Odhran is still stoked with the pedal feel and responsiveness, whether it's for general commuting or those moments when you need to pull up a little quicker than expected.

We look forward to seeing the car back in the workshop next time. Maybe we can fit a few more fun parts and carry out a tune to turn this little weapon into an even more punchy and enjoyable daily driver!

A couple weeks ago we had the pleasure of looking after Noel's mint 2013 RS40 WRX.

After a suspected clutch failure, we had dropped the 5 speed gearbox out to find that it has completely sheered the snout of the gearbox off. This opened up the window for Noel to upgrade a couple of things 'whilst we're in there' to give him a great bump up in power, performance, responsiveness and overall drivability.

This included:
- STI 6 speed gearbox conversion with heavy duty clutch
- TGV & air pump delete
- Front mount intercooler
- Turbo back exhaust
- Cold air intake
- Custom in house dyno tune to suit

When we had handed the keys back to Noel, it was all smiles from him! He later emailed us saying "When I imagine what a WRX feels like to drive, this is it. The RS40 is bang on. Great work."

Super glad we could turn this unfortunate situation into something that was lifechanging for this car and now Noel can go and enjoy the WRX without any worries!

1st outing for 3BANGA at QR today in its new form. Having the car sitting since WTAC, we changed the oil and threw it back to the track as raced in Sydney. 10PSI of boost out of what we usually race with, Yokohama Tyre Australia AD09's, the Kyatchi Carbon on front splitter and rear wing gave the car a very different feel on the track we are so much more familiar with. The@mcasuspension Pro-Circuit coil overs felt like this is exactly how they were intended to play.

Our PB on the Clubman circuit on a different tyre and no aero, 56.6. Today we were only .8sec off that still feeling the car out and just easing into the track feeling the car out. With only limited time this morning to get a few laps in for points in the series we packed up early so I could get back to work. I couldn't be more pleased with how this car has come together.

Next year with a few rule changes in QLD we intend on racing the car in this form in case the opportunity to get back to Sydney arises. Doing some small tweaks and just working on the driver, MAYBE putting the 10PSI back in?? More than likely šŸ˜‰

Clutch bite point right at the top or feeling really heavy? Like brakes and tyres, your clutch is a wear item and over time it can start to lose its ability to properly transfer power from the engine to the gearbox.

Slipping under acceleration, a high bite point, shuddering or difficulty changing gears can all be signs it's time for some attention!

Last week Mydisol brought her immaculate Ignition Red 2026 Spec B into the workshop for a cold air intake & tune, and the results speak for themselves!

A healthy jump in power and torque has made an already capable car even more enjoyable, without sacrificing what matters in a daily driver. Smooth, comfortable and plenty of fun!

A couple of weeks earlier we had her husband Adamā€™s VA STI through the shop for a Haltech ECU, fuel system and a stack of other upgrades. Weā€™re stoked we could achieve a great result for both Mydisol and Adam and their two cracking Subarus.
