Why choose a Performance 4x4 airbox when there are so many on the market? 👀

Because the little things matter. 💪

We designed our airboxes after seeing the same issues time and time again on the dyno, poor seals, loose bolts, cracked lids and seals being crushed from over-tightening.

Our solution? A custom-machined stainless steel shoulder bolt designed to apply the right amount of pressure to the seal, without over tightening or damaging the lid.

It’s a small detail, but one that makes a big difference to the quality of the finished product.

We don’t believe in cutting corners, even when it comes down to something as simple as a bolt.

Think your injectors might be getting tired? 👀

Here are 3 signs worth watching for:

💨 More smoke than usual
🔧 Rough idle or a knock that won’t settle
🥶 Hard starting, especially when cold

Does that automatically mean your injectors are stuffed? **No.**

Plenty of other issues can cause the same symptoms, so don’t start throwing parts at it and hoping for the best.

Each part changes what the others have to cope with, so none of them gets done in isolation. Injectors and pump are handled in house, and the tune is built around what's actually fitted, not a file.

Note the noises, the warning lights, the vibration you only get at certain speeds, and anything that's changed since the last time it felt right. Intermittent problems are easy to forget once the keys are handed over.

It also helps to mention if it normally carries a heavy load or tows. Bring any receipts or records for past work if you have them. A clear list means less guessing for everyone.

Bigger isn’t always better when it comes to choosing a fuel pump. 👀

11mm, 12mm, 200HP, 230HP, 270HP, 300HP… the right pump comes down to your setup and what you actually want to do with it.

Towing a 3-tonne van around Australia? Your needs are going to be very different to someone chasing 270+HP out of their TD.

And it’s not as simple as bolting on a bigger pump and hoping for the best. Turbo, injectors, fuel system and supporting parts all need to work together.
