With all this rain around, it’s tempting to drive through that flooded section of road — but is it worth the risk?

Even water that doesn’t look very deep can cause serious damage to your car, including:

This one definitely caught my eye!

Had this gorgeous Mustang in the workshop and I just had to take a few photos of it.

That purple is soooo nice in person. It changes in the light and honestly looks even better than the photos show.

I’m not usually one to get too excited over a car 😂 but this one is pretty hard not to love.

The whole thing just works — the colour, wheels, bonnet and that big wing.

Definitely a head-turner! 💜.

At B.I.B Mechanical, we only fit parts that we can stand behind.

We DO NOT fit customer-supplied, counterfeit, fake or questionable parts — and there’s a good reason why.

❌ We can’t guarantee the quality or authenticity
❌ We can’t guarantee the correct fit or specifications
❌ Incorrect or poor-quality parts can cause further damage
❌ We can’t warranty a repair using a part we haven’t sourced ourselves

We know parts can sometimes look the same, but when it comes to your car, cheap isn’t always cheap in the long run.

We source quality parts from reputable suppliers and make sure the right part is fitted for your vehicle.

This Audi S3 came into B.I.B Mechanical for its 120,000 km service — and it’s a service you definitely don’t want to skip!

At 120K, there’s more to it than simply changing the oil and ticking a box. We carry out the required service checks and inspections, including fluids, filters, brakes, suspension, steering, belts, leaks and a full diagnostic check to make sure everything is performing as it should.
This 120k service also included Air Filter, cabin filer, haldex service, transmission service & spark plugs

This Mercedes-Benz CLA250 came in with an oil leak, but before we could pinpoint exactly where it was coming from, we needed to degrease and clean the area properly.

Once everything was clean, we could trace the leak back to the oil filter housing/cooler gasket & the turbo feed & return.

A proper diagnosis matters — sometimes you need to clean everything up first before you can see exactly where the oil is escaping from.
Don’t pay dealer prices just because they tell you that you have to.

BEEN THROUGH MUD & WATER? DON’T JUST WASH THE OUTSIDE!

A weekend of serious 4x4ing, mud runs or driving through deep water can cause damage that you might not see straight away.

Mud and water can get into:
Suspension & steering components
Brakes & wheel bearings
CV joints & driveline components
Electrical connections
Oils, fluids & other vital components

This LandCruiser was towed into B.I.B Mechanical after some serious 4x4ing — as it wouldn’t start.

We’ve replaced the battery, alternator, drive belt and tensioner, along with all the oils and fluids.

Once the customer has taken it away and given it a good clean, it’ll be coming back to us for another thorough inspection underneath — including the suspension, steering and other components that are difficult to properly inspect while covered in mud.

If you’ve been playing in the mud, it pays to get your 4WD checked properly afterwards.
