Jason’s tidy little s13 back for some more power upgrades after we saw it a few years ago

Great little example of a simple oem+ build, keeping everything simple and basic we went with

6boost low mount manifold
PSR 2867 Gen 2
1650cc injectors
460 pump with appropriate wiring
Turbosmart FPR6
Fenix front mount intercooler
Head studs + MLS Gasket
Link ecu controlling the show as always

Finished up with a nice little flex fuel tune, final numbers were

98 Low Boost 284whp 12psi
98 High Boost 308whp 16psi
E85 Low Boost 310whp 14psi
E85 High boost 367whp 20psi

66 Mustang we had in for some carb tuning, fitted with a 347ci Windsor, it arrived running on 7 cylinders with a whole pile of running/drivability issues

Quick conversation with the owner and all signs point to excessive ignition timing and lean running, when asked where the initial timing was set we were told “on the 3rd line” the 3rd line ends up being 30 degrees of initial timing, advancing up close to 60

Not exactly ideal circumstances for a freshly rebuilt stroker engine.

After some initial repairs we got it on the Dyno and got the carb properly setup and tuned, finding plenty of power along the way

Finished up making a respectable 335whp and driving absolutely lovely

Mitch’s beautiful little LC in for the Lobley touch, we can always appreciate a really well put together car by the owner, it makes our life so much easier.

Pretty typical tough 202 setup with triple Webers, ice ignition running the show and some pretty trick parts inside the engine

After all our normal carb balancing/initial setup we got a bit of engine run in stuff done.

With a clean bill of health we got to tuning up the Webers, with the out of the box calibration being a mile off, we got to changing all the internals in the carbs

Finishing up with some solid power 230whp at 6700rpm and actually taking over our Holden 6 N/A Dyno record by a decent chunk, we were nothing short of impressed

Great job Mitch

Another one of our previous builds back years later for some further upgrades
s15 back in the shop for a bit of top end work, freshly reconditioned cylinder head, some head studs and a nitto head gasket, topped off with some kelford big boy cams and the appropriate valve spring/retainer package

Making great numbers as always, this setup consists of

Stock bottom end VCT SR, Metal head gasket and head studs
Kelford 268/272 camshafts
Kelford springs/retainers
Artec Hotside with a G25-550
Link G4X ECU
1650cc Injectors
525 Pump
Turbosmart FPR6

Final result of 449whp on E85 fuel

Another day another 500+hp JZX going back to the customer

This originally came in for some diagnostics, consistently being hard to start. We expected poor cold start tuning or a failed sensor, after many hours of diagnostics and scoping inputs/outputs, we found the fault to actually be in the crank triggering input to the haltech. Not something we encounter all that often

We quickly threw a spare in to confirm the theory and it was back to normal, customer decided to get us to run it up and make sure it’s up to our standard

Thank god we did, because we found nothing but problems, poor plumbing and some questionable wiring, fuel pressure issues and so on

After fixing the mechanical issues and going over the basics of ecu setup, we got a proper flex tune done and produced some great results

Stock bottom end 1jz
Built top end
2000cc injectors
Walbro 460 pump
Turbo smart FPR8
Gtx3076

Flex tuned on a haltech, finishing up at 456whp on 98 20psi and 587whp on e85 24psi

Turbo LS1 crewman heading home to the customer, another big job out the door

Engine work done by the owner on this one, fabrication from the boys at

Plumbing, wiring, clutch setup and tuning all done in-house

Setup consists of
Stock bottom end LS1
Usual cam package stuff
Killaboost turbo kit with a PSR g42-1450, 60mm gate
Boost controlled by an Eboost3
1200CC Excess Injectors
Twin 525 Pumps, 1/2” Lines and an FPR8
NPC 700hp clutch

Stellar results as always, finished up at 606whp on 6psi and 687whp on 9psi E85 fuel, tuned on the standard ecu

Steve’s S13 back for a tickle up with a new hotside, been a while since we’ve seen this one, we first put the link ecu and a custom ac setup in this back in ‘22

Bit of an upgrade from the old hotside, that’s for sure.

Setup consists of
Forged SR20, Tomei 260 Pro cams
6Boost manifold
PSR G25-550
1650CC Injectors
525 Pump
Link ECU

Tuned on flex fuel, finishing up at 397whp on 98 18psi and an eye watering 537whp on 26psi on E85 - Maxing out the injectors at 80% we decided to leave it there.

Turbo still very efficient at this boost level, and we expect it would comfortably go closer to 30psi with the appropriate injectors.

Quick health check for the ReadSpeed turbo r1 hill climb buggy before leyburn sprints this weekend

The results? Not healthy, it arrived with a misfire, which quickly turned into a compression/leak down test. We suspect a blown head gasket in cylinder 1 - Not surprising after the abuse this has been through making the power it is

Since it’s getting torn down after this weekend, the collective decision was made to throw a fresh set of plugs in and a quick touch up on the tuning, we turned it onto high boost to see what it would do on the hub Dyno

211hp on 14psi and just shy of 13k rpm will see it through the weekend I’m sure

Bit of Monday morning Weber tuning!

Certainly not the most powerful car to hit our Dyno, but we can appreciate a well put together car regardless of the make or power output

Nice to see a great car built at home by a father and son, with the webers now tuned properly it makes all the right noises

After plenty of mucking around and emulsion changes, we got the fueling exactly where we want it, making it drive beautifully with crisp throttle response.

Finishing up making 133whp out of the little 1600

Tidy little Oem+ C35 we had in for a nistune tune, we can always appreciate a really well put together car when we see one, and this is no different

The owner has done a lovely job making this appear as if it came turbo from the factory, utilising all standard turbo neo components

Keeping things super conservative and utilising the factory boost control we managed to squeeze 227whp on 8psi of boost, through the standard auto
