Here we have a Kia Rio we recently checked over with a knock in the left hand front suspension.

As you can see there is quite an amount of play in the left hand front lower ball joint.

What likely happened is the boot has split and allowed dirt and dust inside the joint causing the grease to become a grinding paste wearing away at the joint.

We caught this one in time and replaced the whole arm to make the car safe again

We are able to carry out all suspension, brake repairs and servicing for your car.

We’ve seen a few good turbo boost leaks over the years but this takes the cake.

This BT50 plastic intake manifold split in half while our customer was driving.

A new intake manifold fitted and all back in the road and good to go again.

All this mess has come from rats living on your warm engine at night.

They also love to chew on wiring as you can see from one picture once the mess was cleaned away. Thankfully no other wiring damage was found and it was an easy job to reinsulate.

If you open you bonnet and find rodent mess the best method we have found is to firstly give it all a good clean up, then wash down with hot water and then bait them away frok the where the car is parked at night. Then continue to monitor under bonnet activitiy often and remove any new nests or deliveries to discourage them returning

Here’s a really good example unfortunately of what lack of oil changes looks like. All the black build up is oil that has turned to sludge and deposited inside the cylinder head and tappet cover. It should all look shiny and clean.
