More than just a ‘car audio installation’, this 1968 Mustang was brought to us by a client who spends plenty of time driving and loves nothing more than to feel immersed in the music during the drive.

In saying that, we all also felt this beautiful classic deserved something a little special, more than just an audio install, a custom fabrication job that appreciated the classic lines and details of the car, and seamlessly incorporated this modern audio upgrade while still ensuring everything was accessible.

We pride ourselves on working with clients and their vehicles to come up with unique ways to integrate audio into vehicles - be they new or old.

Every system is different, because every need is different. Every client listens to different music and utilises their vehicle in a different way. Some are happy to give up space, others are keen to keep the look and feel as factory as possible.

Most people think upgrading the speakers will transform their car audio system.
In reality, the speakers are only part of the equation.

It’s going to be a big few weeks in the BCK workshop with this 79series in for an epic system upgrade.

We’re helping out with a console and steering wheel install, as well as crafting some seriously quality audio using:

✔️ Kenwood DMX9724XDS headunit
✔️ Focal Utopia TBM Tweeters
✔️ Focal Utopia 3.5WM midrange
✔️ Focal Utopia 8WM midbass
✔️ Focal Utopia 10WM subwoofer
✔️ Helix PSIX ultimate 6ch DSP amp
✔️ Helix PONE mono amp

Additionally, there are a bunch of cameras and a heap of sound deadening, plus some serious fabrication!

Customer came to us with an old school custom audio system in their Subaru - unfortunately, unable to get any sound.

After a thorough diagnostic session, we found that the existing processors had failed.

Using more modern technology (the system was built around 15 years ago), we were able to replace these four products with just one. Not only did it resolve the sound issue, but it also made the whole system a lot simpler!

Testament to the original installer, the build is still holding up really well and sounds great 👍🏻
