Here is the thing though. Bigger tyres, more weight and more power all put extra strain on the parts you cannot see.

Your transmission, transfer case and diffs were built for a factory 4WD, not the one you have created.

If you have built yours up, make sure the driveline can keep up. We will check it is all handling the load.

Synchromesh wear, worn shift forks, gear oil that hasn't been changed in years. Most manual transmission problems develop slowly, which is exactly why they get ignored until something finally gives way.​
