Cody’s 2024 Mustang Dark Horse came through Pro Auto for a serious performance upgrade.

We fitted the Full Herrod Performance package, including

• Herrod Performance headers and catalytic converters
• Herrod Performance cold air intake
• Oil separators
• Pro Auto custom dyno tune

Cody also opted to have the headers and cats finished in a black ceramic coating, giving the engine bay a much cleaner look while helping manage under bonnet heat.

The Dark Horse arrived completely stock making 389rwhp.

After the hardware upgrades and a proper Pro Auto dyno calibration, it’s now putting down a very healthy 454rwhp.

That’s a 65rwhp gain at the wheels from the combination.

More airflow, better exhaust flow, heat management and a calibration developed specifically around the vehicle.

670RWHP FROM MICHAEL’S 2024 DARK HORSE

Michael’s 2024 Dark Horse was back through the doors at Pro Auto, and this time we decided to turn the wick up a little further.

We originally fitted this car with a Stage 1 Whipple package last year, giving the Dark Horse a serious boost in performance while retaining excellent street manners.

Now that the car has had plenty of time to put some kilometres under its belt and properly break in, it was time for a freshen up and a little more power.

The car came in for:

• Full service
• Herrod Performance CAI fitment
• Complete retune to suit the new intake system
• Further calibration and optimisation now the vehicle is fully run in

With the new airbox flowing more air and the calibration dialled in to suit, we were able to safely push the combination a little harder.

The result?

670RWHP.

That’s a serious amount of power from a street driven 2024 Dark Horse, and the combination of the Whipple supercharger, Herrod CAI and our calibration has turned this thing into an absolute weapon.

Another Gen 2 Mustang GT back on the dyno! 💪

This 2017 Mustang GT came in for a complete retune along with some rear suspension work.

The car arrived running extremely high boost levels well beyond what we’d consider a safe, reliable setup for a stock Gen 2 Coyote. It was also very jerky and violent to drive, making it difficult to enjoy on the street.

Our goal wasn’t to chase a bigger dyno number it was to build a combination that the owner could actually enjoy driving while giving the engine the best chance of a long, reliable life.

After recalibrating the setup and carrying out a complete retune, the result was a healthy and safe 636 RWHP with vastly improved drivability. Throttle response is now smooth and predictable, power delivery is progressive, and the car is an absolute pleasure to drive compared to how it arrived.

Sometimes the best tune isn’t the one with the biggest boost number it’s the one that delivers reliable performance, consistent power, and confidence every time you put your foot down.

This immaculate 2017 Mustang GT was in the workshop for the fitment of a StreetFighter Stainless Steel Catback Exhaust. It's a system we've proudly supplied and installed for years, delivering an aggressive note, premium fitment and excellent quality.

Unfortunately, this will be the last Streetfighter catback exhaust we'll be installing at Pro Auto, as Streetfighter has made the decision to discontinue their exhaust lineup.

Another naturally aspirated Coyote leaving Pro Auto Performance. 🔥🐎

Stephanie's 2018 Mustang GT came into the workshop after fitting a full XForce exhaust system and Roush Cold Air Intake. With the new hardware installed, it was time for a custom retune to ensure everything worked together safely and efficiently.

After careful calibration on the dyno, the result was an impressive

🔥 HUSSEIN'S 2020 MUSTANG GT IS NOW SOUNDING AS GOOD AS IT DRIVES! 🔥

This clean S550 Mustang GT rolled into Pro Auto for one of our favourite upgrades – a MANTA Performance Catback Exhaust, while retaining the factory bimodal exhaust system.

That means Hussein keeps the convenience of the factory drive modes and quiet operation when cruising, but with the press of the throttle, the Coyote comes alive with an aggressive V8 soundtrack that turns heads everywhere it goes. 🎶💥

In our opinion, Manta builds one of the best exhaust systems on the market. Manufactured right here in Australia, they offer exceptional build quality, perfect fitment and an incredible exhaust note without introducing unwanted drone.

But an exhaust is only half the package...

Once the system was installed, we strapped the Mustang onto our dyno and carried out a custom Pro Auto calibration to optimise the factory ECU. The result is noticeably sharper throttle response, stronger mid range torque, smoother power delivery and improved overall drivability. 📈🏁

💥 785RWHP OF WHIPPLED COYOTE MADNESS! 💥

Luke's 2020 Mustang GT came into Pro Auto ready for the full treatment, and it certainly didn't disappoint.

This beast received our Stage 2 Whipple Superchargers Package, paired with KPM Fuel Systems 1000cc flow matched injectors and a KPM1500 in tank fuel pump with PWM to ensure the fuel system could comfortably support the extra power.

The install went absolutely flawlessly, and with the car already equipped with a set of Pacemaker Headers and high flow cats, everything was in place for the final piece of the puzzle... a custom dyno calibration.

The result?

On a completely stock, unopened Gen 3 Coyote!
