Our diesel tune on Tony's 2018 Hilux resulted in a 47% increase in torque and a 38% increase in power at 2600rpm - right where it is needed for towing and overtaking. Peak power was up by 30hp to 149rwhp (111rwkW). A custom diesel tune results in improved engine efficiency right across the rev range and can also lead to improved fuel economy when driven appropriately. Jesse's VE SS Ute came in for our Stage 1 intake, exhaust and tune upgrade. The L77-powered ute was dead stock when it arrived and we installed Pacemaker headers, high-flow cats and their twin 3-inch system before fitting the VCM OTR intake. Then it was on to the dyno for a tune to make the most of the engine's freer breathing capabilities. The stock cammed L77 made 365rwhp (272rwkW), which is a great result and is the perfect platform for a future cam upgrade and DOD delete.

Chane just bought this VF SS Storm and was unsure how big the cam was in the car or what the tune was like. We gave the car a custom tune and now he has a baseline to work from for any future upgrades. The VF produced 458rwhp (342rwkW) through its manual gearbox, so it is quite healthy as is - but there is always room for improvement...

Lachlan's VF Clubsport now has our 585kW Upgrade Pack fitted and makes 650rwhp (485rwkW). The package includes our LSA-specific Number 13 camshaft, with an overdrive balancer and larger fuel injectors. We then fabricated a custom air intake before fitting Pacemaker's LSA exhaust system that features 2-inch primary headers. We also modified the intercooler core to handle the extra boost and fitted a solid drive coupler as the standard drive is prone to wear. Once the hardware was installed, it was on to the dyno for tuning to optimise power. From there it was on to the road to fine tune the drivability. The end result is a street fighter with perfect manners, a great idle note and a punch that will rattle your internal organs. Brett's VY Maloo just had our Stage 2 upgrade fitted and it now makes 390rwhp (291rwkW). The upgrade package includes our mighty Number 4 cam - designed for cathedral port LS1 and LS2 engines. We changed out the old lifters for new LS7 pieces and then installed a high stall torque converter to suit the cam. Also on the menu was a set of Pacemaker headers, high-flow cat converters and twin exhaust system - matched with a VCM OTR intake to improve the intake side of the equation. This classic piece of Australian motoring now has the muscle to match its good looks.

Nathan also brought his VE SS in this week to have Pacemaker headers and an OTR intake fitted as well as a re-tune to suit. The car had been upgraded with our Number 16 cam and LS7 lifters (to delete the DOD) earlier this year and had a cat-back exhaust from Pacemaker. Nathan wanted to complete the exhaust system and improve the intake breathing. After our touch-up tune, the L77 now produces 441rwhp (329rwkW) through the stock converter and feels strong everywhere in the rev range. Call or message to upgrade your L77. 9456-1111.

Troy has built up his VF SS in stages - peaking at an impressive 489rwhp (365rwkW) from the LS3. When the car came in originally, we fitted our awesome Number 15 camshaft - our go-to for manual cars. At this time the VF had a stock exhaust system. Troy then returned and we fitted a Pacemaker cat-back exhaust. This latest upgrade now includes Pacemaker headers, which netted the impressive 489hp at the tyres. The car now sounds tough and has the power to back up the exhaust note.
