Hey Candelo and surrounds - Bokeh, the Midwinter Festival is happening tomorrow evening from 6pm and we've been busier than a boatload of Vikings on pillaging day preparing for it! We'll be putting up lights at the servo and serving a range of northern-European specialities - goulash soup, lentil soup, German-style "Currywurst" (sausages in a curry/ketchup sauce), hunter's mushrooms with spaetzle, or a kransky hot dog with all the trimmings, and Scandinavian cookies and sweets.

There's going to be a lot going on - there will be food vans operating in the park, the CAS bar will be open in the Town Hall and there will be all sorts of displays using light and/or sound - sculptures, installations, projections, and interactive exhibits - and from 8pm the Bega Sound Collective will be hosting a dance party in the hall. Come down and celebrate being in Candelo in midwinter!

Hi Candelo - did anyone notice some long stick feathery things in the train chimney? They're part of someone's installation for the Bokeh / Midwinter festival on Saturday. If you're able to drop them into the servo we could hang onto them until the owners need them!
