Massive shoutout to Liam for completing his work experience with us this week. He showed up with a great attitude, asked smart questions, and put real effort into learning what it takes behind the scenes in a busy workshop.

A special mention to Dave as well — he stepped up as Liam’s mentor and did what great leaders do: made time, explained the “why” (not just the “how”), and helped Liam build confidence on the tools and the process. That kind of guidance is what creates the next generation of quality tradespeople.

This tragedy is a reminder of what is happening under our noses 😞. We can’t ignore that at any given night someone is not safe. The right to housing is recognised in international human rights law as essential for a dignified, safe, and stable life, rather than merely a commercial commodity. It is defined as the right to live somewhere in security, peace, and dignity, encompassing affordability, habitability, and legal security of tenure.
My team committed to raising 250k, we are still far from it, $25 dollars makes the hundreds, and the thousands.

Canberra friends, quick reality check: we’re seeing a LOT of cars coming in 10,000km plus overdue for a service right now.

We get it. When life is busy, and money feels tight, servicing is the first thing people push back. But here’s the part most people don’t realise: skipping a service doesn’t “save” money, it usually just moves the cost down the road (and it’s rarely cheaper later).

If you’re 10,000km overdue, here’s what can happen

If you’ve ever picked up your car and thought, “Wow that feels spot on, there’s a good chance Angus Gray had a hand in it. Angus is one of our technicians who brings a serious eye for detail to every job. He’s the kind of person who notices the small things early, so you don’t end up dealing with big things later.

What we love most is that Angus is big on constant self-development. He’s always learning, refining his craft, and looking for ways to get even better because “good enough” just isn’t how he operates.

Fun fact: Angus is basically bleeding green, a passionate Raiders supporter through and through.
