Brodix big. What’s not to love about a big block. Had to compare it to a HC410 SBC for size. This thing makes some solid N/A numbers. Got a nice hone job to ensure the rings don’t take a beating to seal up nice.

The Rottler F69 making my life easier for the install. Single point cutter to finish them to size.

Forged factory 8 counterweight crank, 3.86 stroke. Will be 390 cubes with a 4.010” bore. Requires a bit of clearancing on number 3 main. Excited to see how these hold up, bang for buck they’re a good thing.

World products, Merlin II. Wow what a solid block, thick cylinder walls. Destined for a HQ with a pro charger🤘

I get asked to do this a bit, loctite works too. Some people are spooked after they’ve walked out before and want them pinned. Symptoms are a big drop in oil pressure but no bearing material on the oil.

The Rottler hone doing its thing chasing taper. It will dwell on the tight spots and short stroke like a champion until it’s happy. You’ll never replicate real running conditions but you do the best you can using a torque plate with the same fasteners and l**e used for assembly.
