🏆 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: WILL | JMG QUARTERLY MANTRA WINNER
This month, we’re shining the spotlight on Will, our JMG Quarterly Mantra Team Member! With almost 10 years at Audi Centre Canberra, Will brings knowledge, passion and plenty of personality to our workshop. Get to know him below 👇
What’s your role at ACC?
“I am the workshop foreman, diagnostic tech and High voltage expert (HVE). My day is diagnosing and repairing the more difficult and intricate jobs that we see come through the door. Assisting and upskilling staff and working with the front of house service team and our customers to give better understanding of their car.”
How long have you been with ACC?
“I have been with Audi Centre Canberra almost 10 years total. I did try leaving once to be home around the family for 6 months... but I came straight back because... Audi 🤷♂️ I love it!”
What made you want to work in the automotive industry?
“I watched Fast and Furious too many times as a teen would be the honest answer. But... I also do love cars and solving puzzles so thought it was a good fit.”
Favourite thing about working at ACC?
“I think Audi is an experience and not just a car brand. Getting to be part of delivering that experience is a job to be proud of 😁”
What might surprise people about you?
“That I am not always ‘hard faced foreman’ Will and that, I actually relax from time to time 🤣”
What do you enjoy outside of work?
“If you ask my partner, it's Golf, golf, golf. But really, I love spending time with her and our dogs. And also squeezing in more golf 😉”
What’s on your playlist?
“Country, metal, R&B... just not the doof doof party music. Said like a true old fart”
Favourite Audi?
“Love a TT RS or an RS5. The TT for driveability and the RS5 because just look at it. 🔥”
