Here at Onsite Automotive Solutions, we’ve just completed a full clutch replacement on this Nissan Juke. 🔧

The customer had noticed the clutch slipping prior to the vehicle eventually losing drive, with the concern being that the car was going nowhere when put into gear.

After inspection, we found the clutch disc was worn right down and required replacement. We replaced the complete clutch setup, including a new clutch kit, dual-mass flywheel and concentric slave cylinder.

This was a sizeable job, requiring us to drop the subframe down to remove the gearbox, but as always, it was all completed onsite!

The Juke is now back on the road and driving as it should!

Another big job completed by Onsite Automotive Solutions! 🔧🚙

This PX2 Ford Ranger, previously an NRMA Roadside Assist vehicle, came to us with customer concerns of suspension noise and an uneven ride.

After a thorough inspection, we found the old GVM-upgraded suspension bushes had perished throughout front and rear suspension, and the rear leaf packs had shifted, affecting the vehicle's handling and ride quality.

To keep the vehicle compliant with its existing GVM upgrade, we supplied and fitted a brand-new Old Man Emu GVM Upgrade Kit, ensuring it's ready for engineering inspection and back to performing as it should.

After the ranger was inspected, we also carried out a comprehensive list of repairs and maintenance, including:
✅ New front brake pads and rotors
✅ New rear brake shoes, wheel cylinders, and drums
✅ Replacement front CV shafts
✅ 6R80 automatic transmission service
✅ New intercooler hose
✅ New drive belt tensioner and drive belt
✅ Full major service all filters and fluids
✅ Stage 1 carbon cleaning treatment

This Ranger has now received a complete mechanical refresh and is ready for many more kilometers on the road.

A customer recently came to us with accelerated inside tyre wear on their Isuzu D-Max. The factory steering geometry was causing bump steer—a problem that becomes even more noticeable on lifted vehicles.

We fitted up the superpro Steering Knuckle Upgrade, which improves the tie rod angle to significantly reduce bump steer and help prevent premature tyre wear.

Customer reported a vibration noise while driving in their Volkswagen and suspected a wheel bearing fault. We inspected the vehicle and found the rear shock absorbers had failed, causing the rear tyres to scallop and create excessive road noise. We replaced the rear shock absorbers and fitted new budget-friendly tyres. Road tested vehicle after repairs and confirmed the noise and vibration are no longer present. Another customer safely back on the road.

🚗 Mazda 323 back on the road! 🔧
We were recently called out to diagnose a Mazda 323 that had suddenly stopped while the customer was driving. After arriving on site and carrying out our inspection, we found the issue was a snapped timing belt tensioner spring, which caused the timing belt to skip a few teeth.
Thankfully this engine is non-interference, meaning the valves and pistons didn’t collide when the timing slipped, so there was no internal engine damage. A very lucky outcome for the owner!
We installed a new timing belt kit along with a valve cover gasket, set the timing correctly and made sure everything was running smoothly again.
