Unfortunately I forgot to thank some very important people who also helped me so much on the day Louise Evans and Chris Linger who helped on the gate greeting entrants as they arrived, Wayne from DJ Jack who besides supplying the great music on the day also got roped in to helping wirh the car parking set out on Saturday afternoon with Gerard and Durwin ,Thanks very much Wayne , for Danielle Evans, Jayden Donovan, Julie Lunson & Virginia Youd thanks so much for all your help both before the event and on the day very much appreciated.

I would like to take this opportunity to personally Thank all those who helped with organising A Day out for "Don" at Campbell Town on January 14th at Campbell Town, War Memorial Oval. I want to thank my partner Sue for all her efforts on the computer and with all the raffle prizes and helping me put the day together I could not have done it without her. For Timber Wholesale, Glenorchy for their generous sponsorship which helped make the day possible covering my indemnity insurance and St John's Ambulance for the day. To Rod Belbin and his staff at Shannon's Car & Bike Insurance for supporting the event ,supplying the Top Five Trophies and designing & producing the poster for the event .For Richard Badger at Technomics in Hobart for reproducing the posters for distribution. For all the businesses that sponsored the event by either cash donation or raffle prizes without their generosity and support this event would not have been possible I am so grateful. Peter Killick at Bridgestone Tyres Moonah, always being there when ever I need help supplying a beautiful framed print ,the entrant cards and safety vests on the day .Mick & Chris Linger of Highland Haulage, Deloraine again always there to lend a helping hand with their generous donation towards the event as well as bringing down their amazing Peter Brock tribute trailer which was on display for every to see. I would sincerely like to thank my very good friend Gerard Tome who has been there for me over the past 2 years ringing me every week to make sure I am doing ok and who helped all day Saturday marking out the ground for the cars to park on the day and helping me collect the dance floor from Deloraine and put it together at Campbell Town ready for Sunday and back then back again 6.30am Sunday morning to help get everything organised for the day could not have done it without you mate plus all the packing up plus on top of that donated a $200.00 voucher from the Bush Inn Hotel. Then to my surprise a very good mate Durwin Tyack from South Australia whom I met 5 years ago at our Monaro Nationals down here in Tassie
flew down for the weekend to help out with all the setting up on both the Saturday and Sunday it was totally unbelievable, thanks so much mate very much appreciated.To Luke Giesen thanks so much for being my son's very best friend you are awesome mate.Thanks very much to John & Caroline Hamilton for inviting us into your home and cooking us a meal Saturday evening and offering us accommodation for the night in Campbell Town your hospitality was so much appreciated. Thank you to Glenda you are a legend & Murray Burn for all your hard work selling raffle tickets and parking cars, Phil & Sandra Pearton for all your hard work on the gate and parking cars always their to help out .To my good mates from Deloraine who helped with car parking on the day , Simon Evans, Grant Evans, Stephen Sherriff, Greg Saltmarsh and Steve Lowe ,and to all my family brother Jason, sisters Linda , Pam and Brett , my Mum and all those people who entered their cars and bikes on the day and all the spectators who came to have a look , to the food and coffee and Ice cream vans and all the catering done by Tina at clubrooms. A big thank you to Amanda and Tanya from Lifeline Tasmania for their help on the day welcoming entrants in on the gate .Thank you to everyone to helped me make this event special and honor the memory of my beautiful son Cassidy loved always and never forgotten by his family. We can confirm we raised $10,099.89 for the day which has now been transferred to Lifeline's Albi House for the continuation of Lifeline's Bereavement Group program.

With less than 2 weeks before A Day out for "Don" Car & Bike Show at Campbell Town, please get those cars and bikes out of the shed and enjoy a cruise to Campbell Town. Bring your mates, or wives or family, whether you are from the north or south of the state, come and enjoy the atmosphere of like minded enthusiasts. We have many raffle prizes to be won , DJ Jack will be there his music and dance displays, coffee, food & ice cream, face painting, hair styling for the kids, model cars on display and merchandise for sale. All proceeds going to Lifeline Albi House, to help support Mental Health Issues & Su***de in our community. Come along for a fun day and help support this very worthy cause!
