What a weekend for the entire Kartworks team at the Newcastle State Series!
From podiums and incredible pace to plenty of challenges, every driver showed determination and the never give up attitude Kartworks is all about.

Mitch O’Mara KANSW Combined Medium — First Race Meeting under The Kartworks Team/Tent and Qualifed P1 🥇and Finishing P3 🥉in the Final for another Kartworks podium!

Sol Quinlan Cadet 9 — Battled his way from P4 to the 🥇Win the Final, showing incredible pace and determination.

Mitch Wood KA3 Senior — Welcome Back Mitch back to our Team, after 5 months break from Karting, he show great speed all weekend despite a snapped chassis and plenty of challenges.

Ayden McCosker & Caleb Dawson — Both took on a stacked KA3 Junior field, gaining huge amounts of experience, confidence and race craft.

A special mention to Logan Lalas, taking 3rd place 🥉 podiums in both classes KA3 Senior and Rotax Light with a Kartworks race engine, and congratulations to Nathaniel Vegh on his 🥉place podium in Tag Restricted Light with a Kartworks race engine!
A massive thank you to Nathan, Griffo, Cooper and Paul, along with every mechanic, family member and supporter who helped make the weekend happen.
From the highs to the lows, everyone kept pushing until the chequered flag.

ATTENTION KARTERS
Rain is predicted for this weekend, and with a lot of late-minute tyre requests lately, we are unsure of final numbers for the meeting.
Our FINAL wet tyre order will be placed on Wednesday 12th August before 11AM — no exceptions.
• We will NOT be ordering spare or extra sets of wets.
• All wet tyre orders must be PAID IN FULL at the time of ordering.
• There will be NO refunds on pre-ordered tyres.
Sorry guys, but we just want to make sure nobody misses out this weekend!

Another huge day for Kartworks yesterday!
We were back on track for another full day of driver training with Jackson (KA3 Junior) and Cameron (Cadet 9), and the hard work definitely paid off.
Both drivers put in the effort all day, working through data, refining their driving, and improving every session.
Jackson smashed his personal best by 6 tenths�Cameron smashed his personal best by an incredible 9 tenths
Seeing that kind of improvement in a single day is what it’s all about. More importantly, both drivers are now looking faster, smoother, and full of confidence heading into their next race meetings.

MEET AYDEN McCOSKER #77
At just 13 years old and only 10 months into racing, Ayden is already smashing goals and making serious progress!
With podium finishes in recent races, his hard work, confidence and pace continue to grow every time he hits the track. There’s still plenty to learn, but the results are already starting to show.
Keep an eye on the #77, Ayden’s journey is only getting started!

Driver Spotlight – Cooper Griffiths #6 🏁
With 14 years of karting experience, but being raised at the track from birth Cooper has built his knowledge from the ground up while constantly developing his skills both on and off the track.
These days, although he’s not racing as often, Cooper has taken on the role of Kartworks Driver Trainer, working closely with drivers of all ages and experience levels. From track walks and data analysis to onboard footage and one-on-one coaching, he’s committed to helping every driver unlock their potential.
For Cooper, success isn’t just about his own results, it’s about seeing the entire Kartworks team achieve their goals and become the best drivers they can be.
When one driver improves, the whole team gets stronger.

Driver Spotlight – Sol Quinlan #81 🏁
Meet Sol. Three years ago, Sol jumped into karting for fun. At the start of last year, he took the next step and began racing competitively, and he hasn’t looked back.
In a short time, Sol has continued to improve every time he hits the track. This year alone he’s already competed in two rounds of the Australian Kart Championship, gaining valuable experience against some of the country’s best young drivers.
His determination to learn, willingness to take on feedback, and commitment to improving every session are what make him a great part of the Kartworks team. We’re excited to see what the rest of the season has in store for him.
The scary part? this is only the beginning.
