Well it's basically official now. Muegge Mechanical has moved from Camden Park, to our new premises, at unit #9, 50 Donegal Road, Lonsdale. Trading will resume next year late January. All the same services, just a new location!

OK, I know it was wind back Wednesday on the radio today, but the builder of this motorhome took it too far! These might as well go to the museum! Van was converted in Feb 2025. We think it's an American switchboard, all back to AS/NZS now!

Has been a while between posts, but that's what happens when the prototypes roll through! This is a clients Catering trailer. We were employed to do all the electrics, 12VDC/240VDC. Fit a new gas system with 3 outlets to BBQ, HWS and Wok burner, then plumb in the FW system to twin sinks. 4 more of these to fit now that we have sorted the design and ironed out the build faults!

Well there you go, small modification to the internal diffuser plate, and the new Dometic Fresh jet 7, is home and running via the ducts. The inverter sounds so much happier! 😎

Sometimes, the mate who offers to help, cause he does his own DC, isn't always the best option! 600ah @ 24VDC, over 6 AGMs almost bought this motor home to its end!🤬😳🙈

Another "professional" installed inverter in Adelaide. Customer said, they didn't feel comfortable with the installer, so bought it past for another opinion! 6 minutes of load test with a hair dryer running, that's the main 25mm2 positive lead at 101 degrees Celsius! (DC cables are normally rated for Max 90 degs, before insulation breakdown). Under sized cabling, and not a fuse in sight! This is not just embarrassing for the industry, but out right dangerous! Just because a quote is cheaper, doesn't mean they are supplied by the same Apple tree!🤬

Here's a look at a recent River Boat install we did, with a Diesel Heat, DH15 Hydronic system. DH feed hot water, and 2 x separately controlled Fan Heads for air heating. Now with the press of a button, the system will automatically turn from engine heating to diesel heating. www.dieselheat.com.au Dieselheat

Have you had an offgrid electrical install done to your Motorhome, Caravan or RV lately? If it was connected to the main Electrical sub board in vehicle, (powering all normal power outlets and aircon etc), you need an Electrical CoC. These are issued by the Office of Technical Regulators (OTR) in your state. Be sure to ask your installer, if a CoC will be issued for your job. Be careful of the backyard installer, and trust certified installers.
