We’re hiring a SALES ASSISTANT & VEHICLE ACCESSORY FITTER (Full-time or Permanent part-time)
Established in Melbourne back in 1985, Roof Carrier Systems is proud to be Australia’s pioneering roof rack specialist shop. Still family-owned and operated, we are as strong as ever. We work hard, have a laugh while we're at it, and love giving our customers service they'll remember.
IT’S THE PERFECT HYBRID ROLE
Combine your excellent people skills with hands-on tasks as you:
🚗 help customers choose the right roof rack system for their specific vehicle and needs
🚗 expertly fit roof racks, accessories and snow chains (training provided).
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Your background might be retail, automotive or a trade, and while a sales/automotive qualification or roof rack experience would certainly be a bonus, we're far more interested in the type of person you are:
🚗 someone who's a clear communicator with an eye for detail,
🚗 who's a problem solver and loves taking initiative to get things done,
🚗 who's big into outdoor activities like camping, skiing or cycling.
HOURS & AVAILABILITY
Our store is open 6 days/week: Mon–Fri: 9:00AM – 5:30PM and Sat: 9:00AM – 2:00PM.
🚗 A full-time working week would be five of these days
🚗 Saturday availability is essential.
