A Permanent Full-Time position for an Office Administrator within a Heavy Diesel Workshop based in the Woree industrial area.

Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm - No weekend work.

The person will be responsible for the day to day of the office will closely work with the Director.

Your duties will be but not limited to:

• Ingoing and Outgoing Emails & Phone calls

• General Office Administrative Duties including filing and maintenance

• Assist Director in various duties

• High level of computer knowledge

• Booking in services/repairs on booking system

• Sending and requesting purchase order numbers

• Writing up and finalising workshop invoices

• Ordering parts for upcoming services/repairs

TRUCK & EQUIPMENT SERVICE PTY LTD is seeking a permanent, full time Diesel Fitter/Light Vehicle Mechanic join our team in Cairns, Far North Queensland. Are you wanting a lifestyle change? We are offering a 4 day working week so you can enjoy a long weekend every week!

We are a well-respected and busy heavy diesel workshop operating in Cairns since 2006 located in the Woree industrial area.

This is a role that would suit someone with previous experience in heavy diesel vehicles or a light vehicle mechanic willing to learn and take on these duties. Truck and Equipment is offering the right applicant on the job training and support.

You would be carrying out the following duties:

• Carrying out servicing and repairs on heavy vehicles

• Carrying out preventative maintenance and inspections

• Breakdown work

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Reliable and strong work ethic

• Ability to work as part of a close team and independently

• Exceptional time management and organisation skills

• Knowledge of diesel engine systems, components, and diagnostic tools would be an advantage

• Excellent problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills

License & Qualifications:

• Qualified Diesel Fitter or Light Vehicle Mechanic

• Current Driver’s licence

• License & Qualifications - Desirable

ROLE & KEY RESPONIBILTIES -

Administration and data entry

Required to cover personal leave & annual leave of other admin staff
General admin duties
Approx 20-24 hrs per week, Flexible hours, No weekends

REQUIRED CRITERIA-

Proficient when using Microsoft suite programs
Proficient computer skills
Previous admin experience
Strong knowledge & experience with all aspects of Debtor and Creditor processes
Experience with AMWIN (Desirable)

JUNIOR STOREMAN/SALESMAN located in Cairns.
STOREMAN/SALESMAN located in Mareeba.

You will be responsible for assisting in maintaining a warehouse; ensuring suitable stock levels, timely processing of orders, undertaking local deliveries to customers and sales.

If you are energetic, hardworking, and interested in the Heavy Truck & Trailer industry, this is an excellent opportunity.

About you:

Enthusiastic, eager to learn and an interest in the industry.
Warehouse & Sales experience an advantage but not necessary.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Current driver’s license.
Forklift License.
