All to often we see modern diesels with blown intercooler hoses, NP300 navars, Tritons and everything between, the best option is to upgrade to silicone.

It is best to upgrade these as a preventative measure before they blow and potentially harm your engine

These are just a few of the cabin filters we've pulled out of customer vehicles this week!

As you can see, they were definitely overdue for replacement.

Your cabin filter plays an important role in keeping the air inside your vehicle clean by trapping dust, pollen, leaves and other debris. Replacing it regularly also helps your air conditioning work more efficiently and keeps the air you breathe fresher.

This week we had in one of our customers Hilux in for some repairs but at the same time some upgrades. We started with diagnosing a driveline knock which we found to be a worn out transfer case but the rear diff was definitely past it's used by date.
Next it was due for new injectors so at the same time we gave it the full treatment to a intake manifold clean, new injectors, sort out the EGR, alloy rocker cover upgrade and a new upgraded intercooler.

This Hilux now drives better than new

To our valued customers,

Unfortunately we have experienced a loss in the family recently. We are not sure how the coming days/weeks will look but please know we will be doing everything in our power to try keep on top of all the jobs and customer service. However, please be understanding if we are a little slower to reply and have to take part days off.

If at all possible, we are trying to keep all communication going through Kirryn, our workshop operations coordinator, either via messenger or the regular Cars By Kal phone number.

While our immediate family is safe and well, it will take some time for us to navigate this loss and we thank you for your patience and understanding.

An awesome shot sent in by one of our customers.

This SsangYong Musso got fitted with a customer supplied new bullbar, winch, and spotlights and we recently did a snorkel as well.

This was a tough build as we were under a time crunch to get everything done in time for his cape trip, but we were stoked to get it out in time.

We're looking forward to getting in back in the shed for a post-trip service and some finishing touches 👌🏼
