I am noticing during inspections, that a lot of caravaners looking for that little bit of extra storage space are accidentally making the caravan unroadworthy with regards to number plate visibility. Make sure the Maximum height to the TOP of the number plate is no higher than 1300 mm and that you have complete visibility in a 45 degree arc at 20 metres.

Here is a quick check list before booking an inspection. Turn on the gas at the bottle spray soapy water on the visible gas joints, look for growing bubbles indicating a leak. If none are noticed go ahead and Turn on and operate ALL gas appliances. All fitted Gas appliances must work to pass inspection.
