🏁 CBT Racing – Operation: Get It Running! 🏁

The rebuild is getting closer! Today’s mission is simple – get the engine fired up and the brakes working properly.

After countless hours in the workshop, we’re down to the final checks and sorting the last few details. If all goes to plan, we’ll have the engine running and be heading out for a test drive this afternoon.

It’s been a massive effort from everyone involved, and we’re excited to hear this beast come back to life. Stay tuned for updates – hopefully the next post is this Class 8 weapon out stretching its legs!

CBT Racing Update – Cabin Back On!

Another big milestone ticked off in the CBT Racing rebuild!

The cabin is now back on the truck and it’s finally starting to look like a race car again. After months of fabrication, upgrades and countless hours in the workshop, it’s great to see everything coming together.

There’s still plenty of work ahead, but we’re making solid progress and getting closer to having this machine back where it belongs — on the start line.

A huge thanks to everyone following along with the build and to our sponsors for their continued support.

Another big day of progress at CBT Racing! 🏁

The fuel tanks are in, fuel pumps mounted, fuel lines run, the engine is back where it belongs, and tomorrow we’ll be turning our attention to the cab.

It’s great to see all the pieces finally coming together after a massive rebuild. Every step gets us one step closer to getting this beast back on the track where it belongs.

Plenty more work ahead, but we’re making solid progress and can’t wait to fire it up.

EMERVALE SHORT COURSE

📍 Private property at 1340 Esk Hampton Road, Esk Qld 4312.

The event will consist of up to 7 sections. Each section being 1-2 laps of a track which will be approximately 16 km in length.

Catering will be available all weekend. Meals can be purchased Friday and Saturday evenings. Breakfast and all-day catering available from 7am Saturday until lunchtime Sunday.

Operation: Race Car Cabin 🏁🔥

The boys at CBT Racing are officially deep into “Operation Race Car Cabin” — stripping weight, cutting out what we don’t need, and getting this beast ready for the next stage of the rebuild.

Sometimes you’ve gotta tear it right back to build something faster, tougher, and better than ever 💪

Big things happening at CBT Racing 👌

The build is finally starting to look like a race car again! Chassis rolling, driveline going back together and the LS power plant sitting where it belongs 🔥

After a massive rebuild, countless late nights and plenty of fabrication work, we’re one step closer to getting this Class 8 weapon back in the dirt chasing more wins.

This isn’t just a freshen up — this is the next evolution of one of Queensland’s fastest and most successful Class 8 race cars 💪

Still plenty to do, but seeing it back on its wheels is a good feeling.

Big milestone for the CBT Racing rebuild 🔥

Now onto one of the most important parts of any engine build — carefully filing and setting the piston ring gaps for the perfect fit 👌

Taking the time to get every clearance spot on so this thing can handle the heat, RPM and punishment when it hits the track again 💪

The making of Queensland’s fastest Class 8 is coming back together one piece at a time 🏁
