Hello everyone, it’s been a little while since I’ve done one of these but as we have recently experienced significant growth in our follower base, over 600 followers, I would like to take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to all new followers to the page. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to past and current students, as well as their families, for their recommendations. Your support is truly appreciated. I thoroughly enjoy teaching past and current students, their siblings, cousins, and other relatives. I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to work with all of you.
I would like to take a moment to introduce myself and explain why I have chosen to specialise in teaching students with disabilities. My name is Janelle, and I am a mother of four children, three sons and one daughter, aged between 23 and 11. Three of my children suffer from anxiety, two have ADHD, and one is on the autism spectrum. All of my older children hold manual driver's licenses. In addition to teaching my own children, I have also had the pleasure of instructing many of their friends. Prior to establishing my own driving school, I worked for a local major driving school. I made the decision to venture out on my own in September 2022, and this year we will celebrate our fourth anniversary. My goal in specialising in teaching students with disabilities is to provide a calm and comfortable learning environment, where students can feel at ease, regardless of whether they are learning to drive an automatic or manual vehicle to become safe and confident drivers, not to just be able to pass a test.
Due to my specialisation in teaching students with disabilities, my wait times are often lengthy, as I am currently the sole instructor. I understand that this may cause inconvenience, but I assure you that I am doing my best to accommodate everyone as soon as possible. However I do understand some people want an instructor in a hurry and often I have to turn them away, in fact sadly this year there’s been a good increase in people I haven’t been able to accommodate for.
I would like to assure all followers that, while I specialise in teaching students with disabilities, all students are welcome to learn with me.
Finally, due to my advanced booking schedule, I kindly request that students provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice if they need to cancel or reschedule a lesson. This allows me sufficient time to offer the vacated slot to another student on my waiting list. Failure to provide adequate notice will result in the full lesson fee being payable. Once again, I would like to thank everyone for joining our page, and I look forward to meeting all new students soon. 🙂
I’ve added a picture of myself (with my 2 youngest babies) which I rarely do, just so people can put a face to the name, P.S I am the old one in the back 😂😂
