Good morning everyone! Just a friendly reminder that Double Demerits will be in place for the Western Australia Day long weekend.

📅 Starts: 12:01am Friday, 29 May 2026
📅 Ends: 11:59pm Monday, 1 June 2026

⚠️ Double demerits apply to the following offences:
🚗 Driving under the influence
🔒 Not wearing a seatbelt / incorrect child restraint use
📱 Illegal mobile phone use while driving
📡 Using laser jammers / radar detectors
🚘 Obscuring or altering number plates
🚦 Running a red light
⚡ Speeding

As roads get busier over the long weekend, please take extra care behind the wheel. Drive to the conditions, slow down, stay off your phone, and make safe choices on the road.

🙏 Please share this post to help spread awareness and encourage safe driving amongst family and friends. We all want everyone to get to their destination safely.
