Pothole damage that can occur to your vehicle can range from superficial damage to significant repairs &/or requiring replacement parts.

👨‍🔧We recommend checking your engine oil fortnightly.
▪️If the vehicle has been running, allow a few minutes for the oil to settle & ensure the vehicle is on even ground.
▪️The dipstick will be located on one side of the engine, with a yellow looped handle to make it clearly visible.
▪️Remove the dipstick & wipe clean on a rag.
▪️Re-insert the dipstick all the way back in & then inspect the level.
▪️The oil should be between the two marks.
▪️If the oil is low, remove the oil cap & use a funnel to add a small amount at a time.
▪️The scale on the side of the bottle helps give an indication of how much you are using. This usually shouldn’t be more than a litre.
▪️Repeat the dipstick reading until the oil level is sitting between the two markers.

📷 This radiator was blocked & cracked after heavy 4 wheel driving, causing a coolant leak.
👨‍🔧The radiator’s job is to cool the internal combustion engine. The coolant is passed through the engine block where it absorbs heat from the engine. The coolant is then passed through the radiator, to the air blown through it by the fan.
⚠ Signs of a bad radiator include:
▪ Overheating engine
▪ Leaking coolant
▪ Low coolant levels
▪ Sludge & discoloured coolant
▪ Low Coolant light comes on
