Omoda Jaecoo Cairns

06/10/2026

The Jaecoo J5 EV is a 2026 Australian Good Design Award Winner.

It started with one question: what do families actually need from an electric car? For a lot of Australian households, the answer includes their pets.

The jury of 100+ design experts recognised the J5 EV's research-led approach to pet-friendly design, its world-first TÜV SÜD certified cabin materials, and a price point that puts EV ownership within reach of more people.

"Good design isn't about looking good in a showroom. It's about making life easier for the people who drive the car every day.” – Roy Munoz, CCO, Omoda Jaecoo Australia

Thank you to Good Design Australia. See you at ICC Sydney on Friday.

A fantastic day at OMODA JAECOO Cairns as we officially launched the all-new JAECOO J5 Petrol.
We were also pleased to welcome our Omoda Jaecoo Regional Manager Stephen, whose visit made the occasion even more special. 🚗🌟

It was a great opportunity to showcase our dealership, connect with customers, and celebrate the continued growth of the Omoda Jaecoo brand in Far North Queensland.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the launch a success. We look forward to welcoming even more customers into the showroom to experience the impressive new JAECOO J5 for themselves.
