Now, we won’t lie… this job can be a little tedious 😅 Lots of fiddly bits, not always the easiest access, and plenty of patience required! But that’s all part of the fun, right? 😂

🚨 HAVE YOU HAD YOUR VEHICLE CHECKED RECENTLY?! 🚨

Because sometimes the problems you DON’T know about are the ones that can really come back to bite you! 😳

Take this Isuzu D-Max for example…

We found the rear shock absorber bushes were GONE. GONE GONE. 😂

Not worn…
Not looking a little sad…
Actually MISSING! 🫠

Thankfully, we found the issue before it turned into an even bigger problem and were able to rectify it — AND take the opportunity to upgrade the shocks to CalOffroad Nitro Pros! 💪🔥

This one came in needing a new tappet cover and gasket — and once we got in there, we found something we definitely didn’t want to see…

👉 Oil sitting down around the spark plugs! 😬

So why is that bad? 🤔

When oil leaks into the spark plug wells, it can contaminate the spark plugs and ignition coils, potentially causing misfires, rough running, poor performance and even damage to ignition components if left long enough.

We replaced the tappet cover and gasket, cleaned everything up and got this one back to where it should be. 🔧👌

A small oil leak can turn into a much bigger headache if it’s ignored — so if you’re spotting oil where it definitely shouldn’t be, don’t wait for it to become a bigger problem!

Clunking, knocking, wandering steering or tyres that just don’t seem to be behaving? 👀

It might be time to take a closer look at those lower control arms! 🔧

This one came into the workshop needing some attention, and the team at Kropp’s Mechanical got stuck in and replaced the worn-out lower control arms to get everything back where it should be.

Because when your suspension isn’t happy… neither is your car! 😂
