A late night detail on this little gem Avan Aspire 499. Looking good a few inside touches tomorrow and it will be ready for the yard to make someone happy for years and years to come while they explore Australia.

You’ve seen the name. Now let’s take a closer look at the caravan. 🇦🇺

The new Jurgens Tourer range has been designed around a simple idea — build a quality Australian-made caravan, keep the weight sensible and give people the equipment they⁸ actually need for touring.

It all starts with the construction.

The Tourer uses full composite walls and roof, a honeycomb composite floor and a fully hot dipped galvanised chassis. It’s a modern construction platform designed to provide strength without simply adding unnecessary weight.

The standard specification is impressive too:
• 270L compressor fridge
• 200W solar
• 100Ah lithium battery
• Reverse-cycle air conditioning
• Washing machine
• Instantaneous hot water
• Rollout awning
• TV and entertainment system
• Extended A-frame
• Plus plenty more.

Then there’s the weight.
The 18'6" internal Jurgens Tourer 5508 has a tare weight of just 1,969kg, with a 2,800kg ATM giving it a substantial 831kg payload capacity. 😮
That combination of construction, usable specification and sensible weight is one of the things that first caught our attention with the new Jurgens range.

There are models for couples, a compact single-axle option and a dedicated family layout, so there’s quite a bit more to show you yet. Over the next few weeks we'll get into the construction in more detail, introduce each of the layouts and show you exactly what you get for your money.

This isn't simply about bringing back a familiar badge. A new generation of Jurgens caravans is now being built right here in Australia 🇦🇺, with a fresh approach to what a modern touring caravan should be. Quality construction, practical layouts, sensible weights and genuine value.

We're very excited to announce that Jurgens is coming to Searle's RV Centre in Bundaberg.

Over the coming weeks, we're going to take you right through the new Jurgens range. We'll show you how they're built, what's underneath the skin, why keeping weight under control has been such an important part of the design, what's included as standard, and of course, the new models themselves.

We've had a good look at what Jurgens is bringing to the Australian market. There's a lot to like.
