Just thought I'd give everyone an update of what's been going on in 2025, the year has not been kind to me.
As you know i stopped doing lessons in 2024 and went working fifo but in Feb this year a tumor was found in my lower back around L5, I had an operation to remove it and they installed some rods and screws to support my back.
I spent 5 weeks in Hollywood Private Hospital then went home for few weeks but then they discovered I had a perforated bowel and was airlifted to Fiona Stanley Hospital where I still am today! I was put into an induced coma for 2 weeks then in ICU for around 4 weeks, it's been a long 6 months in here getting chemo and radiation and with my low immune system keep getting sick but finally things are looking up and I might be getting discharged in the very near future, possibly as early as this week! 🤞
I dropped alot of weight, I was 100kgs in Feb before the first operation and dropped to as low as 65kgs, currently 70kgs!
Obviously havn't worked since Feb and with all the health issues has not been a great year but all I can do is keep looking forward and keep working on getting healthy again. 💪
