With Father’s Day this Sunday, we took a break from the tools and held raffles at each of our sites to celebrate the dads, father figures, mentors and the men who show up, lend a hand and make a difference every day.

There were some pretty cool prizes up for grabs, including a YETI cooler for our first prize winners! 🧊🎉

To all the dads and father figures in our BRE community, we hope you have a fantastic Father’s Day. Thank you for everything you do, both at work and at home 💙

BEHIND THE BUILD | 5 years of making a difference

Five years ago, Demi joined BRE as a Health, Safety & Environment Specialist and has played an important role in the growth and development of HSE across the business.

Looking back over the past five years, Demi says one of the most rewarding parts has been seeing the role evolve from a one-person position into a dedicated team, alongside a growing safety culture across the business 🦺

From celebrating LTI-free milestones across our divisions to helping employees understand the importance of creating a safer workplace, Demi has made a valuable contribution to BRE.

Congratulations Demi, and thank you for everything you’ve contributed over the past five years. We’re proud to have you as part of the BRE team and look forward to many more years ahead! 👏

At Bruce Rock Engineering, we're proud of where we've come from and committed to where we're going.

That's why we're continuing to invest in the Bruce Rock site - a significant expansion that will strengthen our manufacturing capability, improve operational efficiency and create a better working environment for our people.

But this investment is about more than new buildings.

Bruce Rock is home. It's where we've built our business, our people and our reputation over more than four decades, and we're proud to continue manufacturing here in the Wheatbelt🌾

The project represents a long-term investment in our people, our community, and the future of regional manufacturing, while creating the capability and infrastructure to support the next chapter of Bruce Rock Engineering.

The new purpose-built facility will feature more than 5,000m² of fabrication and assembly workshop space, a dedicated wash bay and quality assurance area, modern office and amenities facilities, and supporting infrastructure designed specifically for the manufacture of road transport equipment 🏭

One of the major additions on the horizon is a new 12m, 2,500-tonne press brake, set to be the largest of its kind in Australia. 👀

As the project continues to take shape, we'll be focused on:

🔹 Site establishment and enabling works
🔹 Workshop and office construction activities
🔹 Installation of overhead gantry cranes and specialised manufacturing infrastructure
🔹 Employee amenities and facility fit-out
🔹 Preparing for the future transition of manufacturing operations into the new facility

We're proud to be investing in the place we call home and building a stronger future for our people, our business and the wider Wheatbelt community.

Bruce Rock is where we started. It's where we're continuing to build 🛠️

We’re ready to be the backbone of the fleet!

Our new BRE Flat Top will be helping the Backbone Steel team, the steel framing division of Summit Homes, get their steel frames from factory to site and ready to build 💪

Because all good homes need a strong frame, you can count on a solid BRE trailer to get them there! 🏠🚛
