SPOTTED: A few familiar trailers playing a small part in a big milestone!

Hancock Iron Ore recently reached an exciting milestone, successfully blending ore from McPhee Creek and Roy Hill for the first time 👏

BEHIND THE BUILD | A Decade Built with BRE

This month we celebrated Sean, Assembly Technician at our Bruce Rock site, who has reached an incredible 10-year milestone with BRE 🎉

Sean joined us as an apprentice, when side tipper bodies were still being built on a set of trestles from the subframe up on a set of trestles. Ten years on, he’s seen plenty of changes, plenty of projects and plenty of growth - both in the business and in his own career

When asked what he’s enjoyed most about his time with BRE, Sean said it’s the opportunity to work alongside a diverse group of people, with different industry experience and skill sets. After 10 years on the tools, he’s seen first-hand how sharing ideas and experience across the team helps us keep getting better at what we do, because there’s always something to learn from how others approach a job 🔧

“I’ve learnt to slow down, think things through, listen to the people around me and take something from every job - and on the odd occasion things don’t go to plan, that’s when you learn the most"

Additionally for Sean, there’s something pretty special about doing it all in the community he grew up in - “I feel privileged to be able to earn a good wicket while working in the community I grew up in” 💛

From an apprentice learning his trade, to an experienced Assembly Technician who’s now got a decade of knowledge behind him, Sean’s journey is a reminder of the people, skills and experience that have grown alongside BRE over the years

Ten years is a special milestone, and we’re proud to celebrate Sean and the contribution he’s made to BRE and our Bruce Rock team over the past decade

Delivered to SJC Azzopardi Nominees, this 9.0m, 27m³ tri-axle TaREX end tipper is now part of Simon’s fleet, working under contract to Holcim across Northern NSW and South East Queensland 🪨
