Here is our own SA driver Graham Jensen running in the rain at the 2011 Superkart Nationals at Philip Island.

This was the final and he started out of 10th and worked his way up to just missing on his pass for the lead on the last lap. Ouch.

Racing in the rain at 170kph with no visibilty is certainly a mind game.

Again old video footage ... and in Bathurst week it is appropriate to celebrate the best that motorsport in SA ever produced.

Glen Dix has been heralded all over the world for his flag waving talent , obviously best known for the F1 events in Adelaide , he also worked his magic at speedway and circuit racing events.

This is from a karting state championship held in Whyalla in the early 1990s . He did every race start and finish for the entire 2 days and he never slowed down.

After the interest we had in our upright exhaust pipe cleaning tubes we have done a bit of a production run.

To save you money we can deliver to the AKC round at Bolivar next week ... and hopefully you do not need it, we are just 17 minutes from the track for any emergency repairs !!!

Large size can hold any of X30, KA100 and Minirok pipes, only $195.
Small size holds KA100 and Minirok pipes at $165.
The added electric heater is $75.

Here we have a used datalogger available. An ALFANO ADSMAG with BX10 expansion box.

Included are sensors for tacho , water temp and magnetic laptimes.
The expansion box will accept even more if you have the sensors !!

All looks in as new condition , and the manual is available online to explain how it works. Only $600 .

Just arrived, a used KR2 Kart Republic chassis with a 125cc Rotax Max EVO engine. Right now these are the most competitive chassis on the track.
Has a new XL seat fitted, AMV rims and KR Ackerman kit. overall good condition. Unknown hours on the engine.
Chassis number KR2 8907. At only $6000, why not come in and take a look ?? .

To keep the old era theme, this is some very early gokart racing circa 1960 . It was the beginnings of the Gokart Club of SA with racing at Daly oval right in the suburbs of Adelaide.

I have had some of those old movie tapes copied to a USB. This first one starts with me in a kart probably for the very first time !!

An educated guess is this is some of the first test drives of the gokarts made by my father Bob Williams in the bare paddocks along Port Road near my grandfather's foundry. This is about 1959 or 1960.

Will post some more tomorrow.
