During the week I was asked to dig out a dam on private property just out of Rand, down Smiths Rd. With the rain we received I had to put that job on hold, I parked my truck and equipment in the paddock of said private property waiting for it to dry out. Returned yesterday to collect my truck to take to another job only to find both fuel tanks had been siphoned almost completely dry, on top of that it was clear someone had also been in the cab. My belongings moved around and GPS interfered in. Leaving our equipment and vehicles onsite for jobs does not give you the right to not only trespass on private property but to steal thousands of dollars worth of fuel. As a small business we are also feeling the pinch of the price of fuel, if anyone knows of any information or details that would be greatly appreciated.
