The Jaecoo J5 EV is a 2026 Australian Good Design Award Winner.

It started with one question: what do families actually need from an electric car? For a lot of Australian households, the answer includes their pets.

The jury of 100+ design experts recognised the J5 EV's research-led approach to pet-friendly design, its world-first TÜV SÜD certified cabin materials, and a price point that puts EV ownership within reach of more people.

"Good design isn't about looking good in a showroom. It's about making life easier for the people who drive the car every day.” – Roy Munoz, CCO, Omoda Jaecoo Australia

Thank you to Good Design Australia.
