Here’s abit of a tech tip for those playing at home or even in a professional workshop. As we all know removing AN fittings multiable times can eventually lead to a leaking fitting. In this case it was leaking on a welded fitting. For the customer this can be a costly and timely repair having to remove / cut and weld a new fitting on when there’s nothing really wrong with the fitting it’s just the sealing face is abit worn. Let me introduce you to a product we use called flaretite( originally designed for the JIC hydraulic fitting industry) it also shares a 37 degree taper like a AN fitting just simply remove the fitting and install it onto the male fitting end and screw it back on! It’s that simple!
