Are you in a cruising car club? Do you & your mates like to get out in a group & just enjoy your cars & the company of like minded others? If you like the idea of being connected, then UHF Comms are the way to go. I can supply you & your group a Baofeng UV-17L UHF Radio programmed with the AUS CB 80 Channels, but more importantly a stand alone security encoded frequency so that you conversations stay private. The UV-17L has a Dual Watch function that allows you to be on your private chanel (or any other channel) & monitor a 2nd channel. So you can RX/TX on your channel, & RX on another allowing you to converse, but still listen out for issues on the road. The radios are also able to call out on ch15 (emergency channel) should you need. The beauty of the UV-17L is I can include your logo on startup for your club/group/business or even club sponsor (attached is a pic with a Proof of Concept for The Skid Factory). They have a desktop charge dock, but can also be charged with a USB C cable on the go.
Pricing will be $150 for the radio, & I can include a speaker mic for another $20 + $15 P&H.
