🚨 Is your registration actually current?

You might be surprised how often we find vehicles that have accidentally become unregistered.

As part of our normal vehicle check-in process at TYREPLUS Acacia Ridge, we verify registration details before we start work. It’s something we do every day, and every so often we discover a customer’s registration has lapsed without them realising.

Driving an unregistered vehicle in Queensland can have serious consequences, including:
• Significant fines
• Loss of Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance cover
• Potentially being personally liable for injuries caused in an accident
• Vehicle impoundment in some circumstances
• Additional costs and inspections before the vehicle can be re-registered.

A missed renewal email, changed address or simply forgetting the due date can be all it takes.
Thankfully, catching it before the vehicle leaves our workshop gives customers the opportunity to sort it out before unknowingly driving illegally.

It’s just one of the many little checks we perform because looking after our customers goes beyond tyres and mechanical repairs.

Not your every day tyre fitment.

This tough little MG came through the workshop for a fresh set of Michelin tyres, but it’s what’s under the bonnet that makes it properly interesting… V8 conversion.

Plenty of modern performance cars roll through here every week, but builds like this always get the team talking. Old-school character, serious noise, and definitely unsuspecting… 👌

One of the best parts of the job is the variety — from daily drivers and family cars right through to Raptors, weekend toys, and custom builds like this.
